| Charlie Lathram has been a leader in healthcare for over 30 years, helping organizations grow, adapt, and innovate in an ever-changing industry. He is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) and a Certified Compliance Professional (CCP). Charlie takes an innovative approach to healthcare, championing value-based care, building multi-specialty clinically integrated networks, and implementing new care delivery models such as hybrid care, onsite clinics, office-based retail pharmacies, and school-based health centers. A recognized thought leader in healthcare management, Charlie has authored two books, Charting the Course: Navigating the Seas of Leadership and My Walk With Him. He has written over 70 articles on healthcare leadership and operations and is the founder and host of independentdoc.org, a platform dedicated to supporting independent medical practices. He has served as president of both the Tennessee and Alabama Medical Group Management Associations (MGMA) and has been actively involved with National MGMA committees and boards. His contributions to the field have earned him awards such as the Champions of Healthcare Innovation Award and the Thomas H. Stearns Medical Executive of the Year Award. Charlie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and continues his industrial and organizational psychology education at Adler University.
