Bio

Talisha Hern, NP, received her Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. Talisha has more than 15 years of experience in the medical field and has a background in cardiology, nephrology, critical care, urgent care, and primary care. In 2019, she was the winner of the Regional Nurse Excellence Award. Talisha is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish.

Talisha’s background in medicine includes working as a critical care charge nurse at Intermountain Healthcare as well as an urgent care advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) for Insta Care’s COVID-19 Relief. She also has experience working as a Nephrology APRN at the University of Utah. As a provider, Talisha is focused on delivering personalized care using evidence-based practices.

I cannot recommend Talisha enough! After being completely dismissed by a PCP I was completely overwhelmed, devastated, and scared that I would not be believed or listened to with new health issues I was facing. When she started talking to me I immediately felt at ease and knew I would be believed and helped. She has amazing bedside manner, explains things thoroughly, and thinks of you as a whole person. She also was very clear with me in all the risks and benefits of various tests including the costs. I wish she would was also a PCP or that all physicians could be like her!!
