Michael Heder, DO

Michael Heder, DO obtained a Bachelor of Science in microbiology at Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Kansas City University School of Medicine and Biosciences. He also completed a three-year family medicine residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. Dr. Heder is certified with the American Osteopathic Association and board certified with the American Academy of Family Physicians. He specializes in family medicine and speaks fluent English and Cambodian.

Dr. Heder chose to pursue a career in medicine because it allows him to help people at every stage of life as well as serve his community. As a primary care physician, he loves to help his patients find solutions to their physical and emotional pains. In addition to his practice, Dr. Heder has experience in baby delivery, screening, and treating skin lesions, sports injuries, acute trauma, and chronic pain. He also provides counseling on anxiety, depression, exercise, and weight management.

When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Heder enjoys camping, cooking with a Dutch oven, woodworking, making delicious breakfasts, learning cinematography, and spending time with his wife and three adorable children.
