Jonathan Holbrook, MD

Jonathan Holbrook, MD obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology, cum laude, at Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He also completed an internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine, a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine, and an interventional cardiology advanced fellowship at the University of Iowa School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Echocardiography. Dr. Holbrook specializes in interventional cardiology and has advanced experience in right and left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, mechanical support devices, ASD/PFO closure, and Watchman placement.

Dr. Holbrook originally studied engineering in college, but after taking an anatomy class recommended by a friend, he realized a career in medicine could merge two of his greatest passions: fixing problems and helping others. Dr. Holbrook is amazed by the intricacies of the human body and chose to specialize in cardiology because of the wide variety of procedures that are available to help patients find healing and happiness. Dr. Holbrook is a diligent provider who listens intently with patience and compassion. He also works with his patients to simplify complex concepts, helping them create individualized plans specific to their needs.

When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Holbrook enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
